Dr. Soren Ingomar Petersen – CEO & co-founder

Dr. Søren Petersen is an international business consultant and design science researcher, author and a regular contributor to The Huffington Post – The Creative Economy: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/soren-petersen.
Throughout his twenty-year career, he has worked with many top tier international organizations, including Rambøll Group, BMW Group DesignworksUSA, Stanford University, Copenhagen Business School, Fraunhofer Institute, INDEX: Award, Delft University, Kookmin University and Hanyang University.
He received his PhD from Stanford University in ME Design Research, MS Mechanical Engineering from The Technical University of Denmark and his BS Transportation Design from Art Center College of Design. He has published twenty-three scientific papers and over one hundred and sixty articles on the Creative Economy, as well as, authoring Profit from Design, a definitive book on design quantification.
Research areas are comprised of design strategy – developing processes, methods, tools and metrics for bridging business and design. These include: Design Driven Startups, Design & Business Model Experimentation, Design Balanced Scorecards, Design Driven Portfolio Management, Inspirational Design Briefing, Managing Designers’ Risk Attitude, Gamification in Concept Design and Crowdsourcing Design Research.

Chuck Chugumlung – CDO & co-founder
Chuck graduated from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California with a BFA Degree with Honors. After Graduation, Chuck began his career as a graphic designer of packaging and online marketing in the Gaming and Film Advertising field. Chuck is highly proficient in many popular 2D and 3D design software including Adobe applications and Autodesk 3D animation software.
Chuck has received several honors in the field of Art Direction, including two recognitions in the Hollywood Reporter Key Art Awards for interactive film marketing projects, “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events” and “The Royal Tenenbaums”. He’s worked on many brands including, Mercedes Benz, Microsoft, Intel, Disney, Mattel and PepsiCo. Recently in October 2013, Chuck and his team won First Place at the Developers Week Hackathon at the Microsoft office in Playa Vista, California.
